Cape Verde Suspends Visa on Arrival for 96 Countries

Cape Verde has updated its entry regulations, suspending the visa on arrival option for citizens of 96 countries. Travelers from affected nations must now secure an entry visa before starting their journey.

The new requirement applies to entry visas as well as transit and airport stopover visas. Official updates are displayed on the official EASE pre-registration portal, which now instructs affected visitors to apply prior to departure.

Travelers who arrive without obtaining the required visa in advance risk being denied entry or transit. Certain specific categories of travelers remain exempt under the decree.
