Thailand reduces visa-free stay for many nationalities to 30 or 15 days

The Thai government announced that the previous 60‑day visa‑free exemption for tourists from many countries is being replaced by new limits.

Under the new rules, travelers from places such as India, the United Arab Emirates, the Philippines and dozens of other nations can stay visa‑free for up to 30 days, while others are limited to 15 days or must obtain a visa on arrival.

The change affects more than 90 countries across Asia, Europe, the Americas and Oceania, according to the announcement reported by Gulf News.

Travelers are advised to check the latest entry requirements before planning a trip to Thailand.
