Angola has quietly become one of the more open countries in the region, with visa free entry now extended to 101 countries, following a steady expansion that added the Philippines to the exemption list on 17 October 2025. For a nationality with a bilateral agreement, the stay and re-entry terms can be specific, Algerian citizens, for example, get up to 30 days visa free with as many as three separate visa free entries allowed per calendar year, a detail worth checking for your own nationality rather than assuming one flat rule covers everyone. Citizens of countries not on the visa free list apply through Angola's e-Visa system instead.
