Guide
Gabon runs three separate tracks depending on your passport. CEMAC countries, Cameroon, the Central African Republic, the Republic of the Congo, Chad, and Equatorial Guinea, plus Mauritius, Morocco, the G20 countries, Malaysia, Panama, Sao Tome and Principe, Singapore, and South Africa enter visa free. A separate, longer list, including South Africa, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, South Korea, the UK, France, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Turkey, and the EU, can get a 90 day visa on arrival. Everyone else applies for an e-Visa, live since 15 June 2015, approved within about 72 hours, priced at 70 euros for a one to three month single entry visa or 185 euros for a six month multiple entry version, each plus a 15 euro processing fee.
Wherever your route through those three tracks lands you, the e-Visa specifically is only valid for arrivals through Leon Mba International Airport in Libreville, not any other entry point, and a yellow fever certificate, the yellow card, is required for entry regardless of which visa category applies to you.
