Jamaica has a form called the C5, and it is not the paper one you may remember. Since 1 September 2023, all arriving passengers have been required to complete an Electronic Passenger Declaration, the C5, at enterjamaica.gov.jm for final clearance at international airports. It is free for visitors and residents, and it can be completed up to 30 days before your trip. Visitors also need a passport valid for the period of their stay, evidence of sufficient funds, and a return or round trip ticket to a country to which they are admissible.
Jamaica has three main international airports, Sangster International in Montego Bay, Norman Manley International in Kingston, and Ian Fleming International near Ocho Rios. The departure tax was reported at 35 US dollars in 2024, and it is typically included in the price of an airline ticket.

Jamaica has no land border, and every international arrival is by air or sea. The C5 declaration is done for clearance at the airport.

Sangster in Montego Bay is the resort gateway, Norman Manley in Kingston serves the capital, and Ian Fleming near Ocho Rios is the third international airport.
Transit routes

It can be submitted up to 30 days ahead, so doing it at home saves time at the airport, where the declaration is used for final clearance.
- Use the official portal only
The C5 is free at enterjamaica.gov.jm, so any site charging for it is not the government's.
