Extension
An extension of a Short Term Social Visit Pass is not routinely granted, only on special consideration such as illness, accident, or an emergency in the traveler's home country; apply at an Immigration Department office before the pass expires, each extension costs RM50. A traveler whose pass has already expired must instead apply for a Special Pass to remain lawfully while arranging departure
