For straightforward short overstays, ICA typically imposes a composition fine scaled to the length of overstay rather than prosecuting in court

Declare cash above SGD 20,000 (or equivalent) for physical currency and bearer negotiable instruments combined, declared to the Singapore Police Force via Form NP 727, not to ICA itself.
